LAGOS, Nigeria — Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has sparked fresh debate over financial accountability after releasing what he described as a summary of the finances of the Martins Vincent Otse Initiative, the non-governmental organisation (NGO) under his management. The disclosure followed weeks of criticism and questions from some social media users regarding the management of donations made to the initiative.
