‘Wahala Ma Po’:Shaggi Announces Return, Promises Fans Exciting Projects

Nigerian comedian and content creator Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has expressed gratitude for being alive after recovering from a stray bullet injury that nearly claimed his life in March 2026.

In a video titled “The Second Chance,” Shaggi assured fans that there was no need to feel sorry for him, describing his survival as an opportunity to return to work and pursue projects he had been unable to complete over the past several months.

The comedian said he was grateful to be alive and encouraged his fans to share in his joy as he prepares to return to the screen with new content.

“I am grateful to be alive. Second chance. You should also be grateful to have Shaggi back on your screen, because right now I’m coming with exciting projects,” he said.

Shaggi disclosed that he had been unable to carry out several plans he had made for the year over the past six or seven months, but promised that fans would soon see more of him.

“The things I’ve always wanted to do, the things I planned to do this year that I’ve not been able to do for the past six, seven months, una go tire ooo,” he added.

In his characteristic humorous style, the comedian warned his followers to prepare for a flood of content on Instagram, joking that they should not block him because he intended to be very active on the platform.

“Just make sure you don’t block me, because I’m coming with a lot. Get ready because… Wahala ma po,” he said.

He ended the video with the Yoruba phrase, “Won ma arrest wa gbeyin ni,” joking that the volume of trouble they would cause might eventually lead to their arrest.

Shaggi’s message combines gratitude for his recovery with excitement about returning to entertainment and reconnecting with his audience after months of setbacks.
